Basic First Aid (used to be OFA Level 1)

The Basic First Aid course (used to be OFA Level 1) is 7 hours of in-class training and is designed for the First Aid Attendant who is working within 20 minutes travel time to a hospital.  It covers the following:

  •        Roles and Responsibilities of the First Aid Attendant in the Workplace,

  •        Adult Choking,

  •        Adult CPR and AED,

  •        Medical Conditions,

  •        Severe Bleeding and

  •        Minor Wound Care.  

​
