The Advanced First Aid course (previously OFA 3) is 70 hours of in-class training,  designed for the First Aid Attendant who is working more than 20 minutes travel time to a hospital.

The AFA course covers the following:

​

• Roles and Responsibilities of the First Aid Attendant in the Workplace,

• Adult Choking,

• Adult CPR and AED,

• Oxygen administration

• Bag Valve Mask

• Patient packaging and transport

• Splinting upper and lower limbs

• First aid room procedures

• Severe Bleeding and

• Minor Wound Care.  

• Environmental conditions

• Medical Conditions,
